Rod Manifold Honored by Virginia Senate and House

Earlier this week, we were incredibly shocked and deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our colleague and friend, Rod Manifold, Executive Director of Central Virginia Health Services. Today, Rod was honored on the Senate floor with a Memorial Resolution. The resolution recognizes the impact Rod made on the health and wellness of countless Virginians. Additionally, the House adjourned in his honor.

Senator Mark. J. Peake was the Chief Patron of the Memorial Resolution. The House was to adjourn in Rod’s honor.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Manifold family and the staff of CVHS. Please join us in sharing your memories of Rod:

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th, at Fluvanna County High School, 1918 Thomas Jefferson Parkway in Palmyra at 2:00 pm. Family will greet visitors prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. A second service will be held on Sunday, January 29th, at New Central Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia at 2 pm, with interment following at Riverside Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made in Rod’s memory to Central Virginia Health Services.
