Congratulations to Eastern Shore Rural Health, Inc.!
On Wednesday, August 15, Gov. Ralph Northam and local officials joined the leadership and staff of Eastern Shore Rural Health to break ground on a new community health center in Eastville, a community in Northampton County.
Eastville Community Health Center will replace Eastern Shore Rural Health System’s Bayview and Franktown CHCs — and at 24,500 square feet, will double the size of the existing facilities. In addition to offering dental and mental health services, the facility will have an onsite pharmacy operated by a local pharmacy.
“Consolidating the two existing health centers into the new facility will provide Northampton County with a state-of-the-art facility, with 10 providers, three dentists and an on-site pharmacist — Rayfield’s Pharmacy,” said Nancy Stern, Eastern Shore Rural Health chief executive officer. “Imagine the convenience to our patients! To be able to see a doctor, dentist, and pick up a prescription at the same location!”
