Piedmont Access to Health Services (PATHS) announced it will relocate its Chatham health center to a larger space in town allowing the health center to see more patients, expand services, and create 21 new jobs!
PATHS will be investing $2.9 million to renovate the building to 19,000 square feet, with will allow for expansion of services. The Danville Regional Foundation provided a $500,000 grant, the Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission awarded a $90,000 Tobacco Region Opportunity Fund (TROF) grant and Pittsylvania County/Town of Chatham awarded a $15,750 Industrial Enhancement Grant to assist with this project.
PATHS currently operates five community health centers across Southern Virginia with locations in Chatham as well as Martinsville, Danville, South Boston and Boydton.
